Aare boats and SUPs can be rented from CHF 50.–.
Pick up the boat in Thun between 10 a.m. and 2.30 p.m. and return it after the tour in Bern until 6 p.m. Fast, easy and safe.
Safety
Our Aare boats are professional, stable and self-draining inflatable boats. This means that any water that has got into the boat will flow out of it by itself. With life jackets in all sizes.
Equipment
Whoever rents a boat from us, rents the complete equipment. This means: a professional, stable inflatable boat including life jackets for all participants, paddles, a clothes barrel and a map of the Aare. Of course we also take care of the return transport of the boat from Bern to Thun.
Rules
There are rules on the Aare too. They serve your protection and that of others. We ask you to watch the instruction video and show it to all participants.
Booking
You can reserve your boat online. Please note that the boat rental must be paid in cash on site.
The prices include the boat rental and the complete rental equipment. On weekends and public holidays there is a surcharge of CHF 10.– for the inflatable boat rental.
Route
Your tour starts in Thun. 20 km sometimes fast, sometimes smoothly along the Aare to Bern. The trip ends at Bern Eichholz, where you can return your rented boat.
Our boats
At Aarebootsvermietung you can rent boats for small and large groups. From canoes for 2 to our largest boat category for 14 Aare boats. For large groups there are guided tours.
Life jackets and paddles for all participants and clothing barrels are included on all boats. You can also rent life jackets separately.
